Technical Details

Position : Founder
Concerned browser(s) : Mozilla Firefox
Who the problem concerns : Yourself

Forum link : cotvu.forumotion.eu

Description of problem

So, I could have attached 3 perfectly self-explainable pics, made this ticket a little easier for whoever is handling it. Guess what, I am directed to another webpage in order to upload 3 simple pictures in this ticket. Not only that THERE IS NOT EVEN AN OPTION TO CREATE A NEW USER ON THAT SAME PAGE. So I will try now to explain this simple issue best I can, by text. I have recently created some categories and sub-forums on my newly created forum. However the simple problem at hand here is that the forum DOES NOT show the same order as in the administrative panel, meaning all the categories are invisible unless in the administration panel. THAT IS, unless I click on a specific forum, test, and I'm told it's located in COTVU > RCM & ACM > test. Yeah guess what RCM & ACM was a category I created, and I wanted this forum to be under that one!!! Is that too much to ask!!! Sorry I am just way behind schedule and all this anti-user friendly shit I had to go through already. So I am hoping for a fast response.

Best regards,
Padre

!UPDATE so I just found out that I can actually access my categories from within the forums. But it still doesn't help the fact that my categories are NOT displayed on the forum front page, which they should be.

I think when you create a category from the administration panel, there is some setting that makes it invisible. How do I make my categories appear on the forum front page??

Hello,

You need to have patience. All the staff here are volunteers who help out in our own free time. In addition we have other people we have to help as well. Please calm down we so can help you.

Try this: ACP(Admin Control Panel) > Display > Homepage > Structure and hierarchy > Index packing >Play around with this until you find the one that makes it show how you like.
