Since you modified the overall_footer end template, that it the one you need to edit.  I went ahead and did it for you.  You can check it out to see what was added.

Have you associated your 2 accounts?  On your forum:  Profile > Preferences

If a member register with Facebook, they will not have to do this.  Members before you activated Facebook Connect will have to do this.
