should mods have the right to edit members signature's

First topic message reminder :

Hi all just a little some thing i have looked over and found would be good to have on the site.
Right now the only way to edit a members signature is the member them self or a admin of the site with ACP rights.

i am asking you all to support me on having a place on the mods tools where the Mods can edit the signature's
this will help the staff when some one puts porn or some other thing in the signature that should not be there

as you can see you can stop the member from using the sig or just edit it

It would be good if it was added in by groups because for example, moderators and banning, if you give someone mod powers in just one forum, they have the right to ban. It would be good if you could adjust this for groups.

I'll vote yes.    The reason you have mods in the first place is so they can help admin.  You can limit what they can do, so why not use them when you need them.

I voted yes if you can choose specific members or groups to edit it and of course if you want to add the option or not.

Thank you for your vote and yes you will have the right to pick your staff to do this and if you want it or not if you don't pick the staff then it's there just for admin's to do

Yes, as if you have a busy forum with a small amount of trusted staff to help you then you cannot possibly remove all inappropriate material from sigs by yourself.

Hi, ape a big yes for me!
In most FM's members tend to exagerate with sig's so in the case when admins are away, mods can be able to manage the forum in their absence, therefore iot seems to be a great idea indeed!

Oh, I really wish they could.  There have been several times when I've not had access to my computer and a member had posted up a signature that violated the rules and a mod couldn't remove it.

It's really frustrating.

You mean they can't already? Why isn't this already possible? They can edit everything else in the profile except points and avatar! Definitelly yes!

 No right now this is not in the tools and it has been on most other forum for years

No its not added yet not sure if it will but keep voting and maybe we will be lucky

I have yet to see any suggestion from this sub-forum implemented so far .

I am surprised this hasnt been made availad, atleast  as a option yet.
