Give mods the right to edit members signatures ??
should mods have the right to edit members signature's
First topic message reminder :
Hi all just a little some thing i have looked over and found would be good to have on the site.
Right now the only way to edit a members signature is the member them self or a admin of the site with ACP rights.
i am asking you all to support me on having a place on the mods tools where the Mods can edit the signature's
this will help the staff when some one puts porn or some other thing in the signature that should not be there
This is a screen shot of a MCP that is on MyBB forum
as you can see you can stop the member from using the sig or just edit it
Screen shot Lost SORRY
right now the admins are the only ones that can do this ..
come on guys lets get this added to the site.

There has been many new options/features added by Forumotion that came from suggestions. Mobile templates, Invision & phpBB 3 templates, just to name a few examples.brandon_g wrote:I have yet to see any suggestion from this sub-forum implemented so far .
I am surprised this hasnt been made availad, atleast as a option yet.

I apologize, I probably shouldn't have said ANY, while there have been a few implemented, there are still many more suggestions still waiting patiently for implementation in this section. While I fully understand it is impossible to implement all of them, especially the ones that are a little un orthadox, however, there are fairly simple ones that have been here for years and have hundreds of 'yes' votes and still haven't been impletemented or possibly not even considered yet.
My point is: This sub-forum is 12 pages long, there are many good ideas and suggestions that are both logical and simple and complex and not so beneficial. While a few have been implemented after awhile, the number of non implemented suggestions still far exceeds that of the ones implemented.
This very suggestion, along with Luffy's points one and SLGray's suggestion for the spambot all should have been implented awhile ago. They are all logical and simple.
Forumotion is one of the best free forum services around, both support wise and 'stability' wise. When it comes to suggestions though, they are kinda slow and (for lack of a better word) 'picky' as to which ones they will implement.
Sorry to sorta derail your topic there Ape, I think your suggestion should 100% be implemented and should have been awhile ago.

Re: should mods have the right to edit members signature's
our main updates have been given to us they read our thoughts and when they get time they make some updates... most of the updates we have are updates that give us faster and better forums we have had lots of our updates that have come from our thoughts like not long a go we asked for bigger inbox space and that was gave to us we asked for templats on all forums and we go that to we asked for mobile updates and we got that and then we got templates for mobiles to now come on we get more then some free sites and don't forget we are a free forum host and support forum.
It's not Easy to add more items to the forum system it has to be made compatible with all our forum systems versions.
I would love for my Suggestion to be used but we just have to see if its used or not.
To do this may be a little more harder then you thing ...I for one would not know how to start

I'm really worried why this isn't implemented yet.
There's no reason to not have this feature!

An Admins role can be very busy on an active forum. Any help that mods can provide would make the forums run smoother and safer.

LOL.. 107 votes
Is a good idea...When a user does not comply with the rules of the signatures, if there is no a admin available, moderators and expedite correct it all.

Voted "Yes"
If moderators can ban members or see hidden users, why not allow mods to have the ability to edit signatures.

Precisely! That is why I was surprised to find out this isn't already possible .
